Affiliate Participation & Performance

Activity Requirement: Generate at least 1 sale or engage in a program activity every 60 days.

Inactivity Policy: Affiliates inactive for 60+ days will be respectfully removed from the program.

Behavioral Expectations

Affiliates are expected to:

• Create content aligned with FreeTheRoots' voice and values.
• Avoid offensive language, harmful stereotypes, or controversial subjects in brand-related posts.
• Maintain respectful conduct online and offline.

Violations will result in:

• A warning for minor infractions.
• Immediate removal for severe or repeated violations.

Community Guidelines

Content Standards

• Be Respectful: No hate speech, offensive comments, or toxic behavior.
• Stay On-Brand: Focus on natural haircare, locs, and your personal journey with our products.

Prohibited Activities

• Inappropriate Content: No vulgarity, explicit imagery, or discriminatory messaging.
• Spam & Unsolicited Promotions: Do not spam unrelated platforms or communities.
• Illegal Behavior: No promotion of unauthorized giveaways, lotteries, or illegal conduct.

Violation Protocol:

• Step 1: Formal Warning
• Step 2: Temporary Suspension (if needed)
• Step 3: Permanent Removal (with written notice)

• Use Approved Messaging: Rely on brand-provided language for key product benefits
• Be Yourself: Creative freedom is encouraged within brand standards.
• Major Campaigns: High-profile posts must be submitted for pre-approval.

• Minor Issues: Written warning with corrective instructions.
• Major Offenses: Immediate termination and formal offboarding.
